J. Allyn Rosser is an American poet and a retired Stocker Professor of Creative Writing at Ohio University. She has published four books of poetry, most recently Mimi’s Trapeze (University of Pittsburgh Press). Her three previous collections won the Morse Prize, the Crab Orchard Prize, and the New Criterion Poetry Prize. She has received fellowships from the Guggenheim and Lannan foundations and the National Endowment for the Arts. Her poems are published widely in journals and anthologies, and appear in five editions of Best American Poetry. She served as the editor of New Ohio Review for eight years.
